4.0 H RA Housing Plan as part of the Comprehensive Plan (LIRA Housing Plan attached) <br />4.1 HR A and Community Development Staffwill provide information on hoer the H1 A Housing <br />Plan will become, if accepted, an integral part of the Comprehensive Plan, Section 6 <br />Housing, as part of the 2003 updating process. <br />4.2 Housing is and always has been a key focus o f the City of loo nevi Ile as a first ring fully bui It <br />community. The continuous evaluation and updating of the housing stock is critical to the <br />livelihood of Roseville neighborhoods. <br />4.3 The importance of investing in the housing stock was one of the reasons the H1A was <br />established+ As one of the HRA's first tasks a housing plan was prepared. This was not done <br />in a vacuum. The LIRA spent several months evaluating the existing comprehensive plan, <br />the housing programs and policies, the Vista 2000 report and existing demographic <br />information prior to preparing and adopting a dousing plan. In addition, apublic hearing was <br />held to gain public input regarding the plan and the HI A's budget prior to adoption. <br />4.4 As part of the Comprehensive Plan update of 2003, the Planning Commission will review <br />and male recommendations for amendments to the plan in December with final adoption by <br />the Council.
