Regular City Council Minutes — 10/13/03 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 17 <br />Scheduling of Special Meeting for Council to Review <br />Material Related to Employee Code of Conduct <br />Violations <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn briefly mentioned research he was still <br />performing related to his request for Council review and <br />comment related to an employee issue. <br />Councilmember Klausing sought further clarification on <br />the Mayor's intent related to an employee issue. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn alluded research into several <br />departments, estimating that future discussion would be <br />approximately I/2 hour to one hour in length, and was <br />related to potential violations of the employee handbook <br />provisions, but was still being investigated by him. <br />City Attorney Anderson requested that prior to discussion <br />at a public meeting, Mayor Kysylyczyn provide more <br />detail to him and they confer in private, cautioning <br />potential data practice concerns; and whether or not <br />discussions were appropriate under rules for City Council <br />authority, or were more appropriate under the City <br />Manager's authority. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn <br />Anderson's advice. <br />X.
