City of Roseville, f Addendum to Agreement Collectio-T, Effective September , 2003 This Addendum dated as of September _, 2003 is made by and between the Cit of Roseville, a municipal corporation, ("' City") and Waste Management of Minnesota, ( "Contractor' } ). WHEREAS, the parties entered into that certain Agreement for Recycling g Collection dated January 1, 2003, expires, December 31, 005 • and WHEREAS., the parties now wish to extend the term of the Contract P ursuant to the terms and conditions specified herein, NOW, THEREIN ORE, the parties agree that effective as of September 2003 the term of the Recycling Agreement shall be extended for five ears through � g December 31, 2008, subject to the following terms and conditions: Agreement 1. Transition: Effective upon delivery of the recycling carts the recycling g service shall be switched from the current two (2) sort system to 4`single sort' (commingled in a single 32, 64, or 96 gallon cart). 2. Recycl niz ate: Each Residential Dwelling gait ("RDU") will be required to receive a 64- gallon cart. After (90) days use, this cart may be upgraded to a 96 gallon or down graded to 3- gallon cart at the residents request. 3. Delivery: Initial cart delivery of 64-gallon carts to all 1J s shall be made within ninety (90) days of the date of the agreement. The entire cost of the cart, can delivery} cart repair and replacement shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. 4. Promotion and Public Education: The Contractor and the City shall work together in the preparation and distribution of educational materials to insure accurate information and program directions. The Contractor shall submit a draft of any public education literature for approval by the 0ty.
