Views on Primary Elections <br />Ms. Curti: <br />I appreciate this opportunity to use ernai l to expreSS my views about pr-imary elections here in Roseville. <br />am in favor of retaining primary elections in that they narrow the field a hit e� elections. z � � especially in Mayoral elections. <br />� <br />(MY f ss� MPtioil is that only two Mayoral candidates nin in the final election.) With the held of candidates <br />narrowed to two,, the Winning candidate has more of a mandate from voters. With just one election, a candidate <br />may represent a plurality -- ust over a third or even a fourih of the voters.
