➢ American St. to Snelling Ave. SB ramp- 780' <br /> Proposed Improvement <br /> Summary of Proposed Improvements: Road Reconstruction, Traffic Signal, Signing and/or <br /> Striping, and Storm/Sanitary Sewer. <br /> The project would add the following lanes at the Fairview Avenue intersection: a southbound <br /> right-turn lane, a second southbound left-turn lane, an eastbound right-turn lane, a second <br /> eastbound left-turn lane, a second northbound left-turn lane, and a second westbound left- <br /> turn lane. <br /> At the intersection with the west Snelling Avenue interchange ramp, the project would add a <br /> second left-turn lane on northwestbound County Road B2 into Rosedale mall and lengthen the <br /> southeastbound left-turn lane on County Road B2 that accesses the ramp to southbound <br /> Snelling Avenue. <br /> At Brooks Avenue, a "T" intersection, a right-turn lane for westbound vehicles will be added. <br /> In addition to the improvements at intersections, the County Road B2 roadway will be <br /> repaved to preserve the pavement structure and sidewalk will be replaced, as necessary. <br /> Traffic signal controllers, cabinets, and interconnection at the five signalized intersections <br /> will be upgraded and Audible Pedestrian Signals (APS) will be installed. All pedestrian curb <br /> ramps will be upgraded to conform to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. <br /> Project Cost and Funding Sources <br /> The total estimated cost for this project is $4,945,730. <br /> Anticipated Funding Sources <br /> Federal Funds $2)394)000 <br /> State Funds $0 <br /> Local Funds $2,551,730 County State Aid and Municipal <br /> The 2010-2013 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) has $2,394,000 in Federal <br /> funding scheduled for this project in fiscal year 2012 (Sequence # 1830). <br /> Anticipated Schedule <br /> Project Memorandum September 2010 <br /> Public Meetings June 2011 <br /> Right-of-Way Acquisition August 2011 <br /> Plans, Specifications Et Estimate December 2011 <br /> Letting March 2012 <br />
