An <br /> 5 analysis is being completed comparing the cost of treatment <br /> 6 by a contractor vs. in-house cost. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 iv. Replanting: It is an essential and integral part of this plan to <br /> 9 include replanting appropriate replacement trees as the <br /> 10 boulevard ash trees are removed. The 2010 grant will allow <br /> 11 up to 23 trees. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 v. Private property: It has been an expressed desire from some <br /> 14 residents to have the ability to purchase a product or service <br /> 15 at a city rate should the city enter into a volume contract. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 C. Ordinance <br /> 18 1 . Description: <br /> 19 i. To update the current city forestation control ordinance #706 <br /> 20 to include EAB and other appropriate modifications. <br /> 21 ii. Involve the Parks and Recreation Commission in the <br /> 22 ordinance review, revision and recommendation to the City <br /> 23 Council for final adoption. <br /> 24 i i i. Determine if any changes are necessary to the ordinance <br /> 25 including the role of the city and the role of the homeowner. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 2. Progress: <br /> 28 i. Current ordinance #706 has been distributed to the Parks <br /> 29 and Recreation Commission and preliminarily discussed. <br /> 30 ii. A draft ordinance update is in process with the Parks and <br /> 31 Recreation Commission and the City Council discussions <br /> 32 soon to follow. <br /> 33 i i i. We anticipate that in early 2011 the city will hold a public <br /> 34 hearing for an updated forestation control ordinance. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 D. Wood Handling <br /> 37 1 . Description: <br /> 38 i. Restrict movement per federal and state quarantine <br /> 39 ii. Utilize wood <br /> 40 iii. Will be lots of wood waste <br /> 41 iv. Equipment/staff etc <br /> 42 <br /> 43 2. Progress: <br /> 44 i. The City of Roseville is adhering to federal and state <br /> 45 requirements. <br /> 46 ii.
