The police department has approached Rosedale Mall <br />35 management multiple times —with no success--to request financial support to deploy an <br />36 officer(s) to act as commercial patrol in the mall. On May 2, 2011, the Chief and Lieutenant of <br />37 Police approached mall management to again request financial support for commercial patrol <br />3(M°fi officers. That request is currently under consideration by mall management.
