The Roseville Central Park Foundation will provide renovation fuln�din�g, Roseville Parks and Recreation <br />will provide financial sulpport and leadership for com�m�uln�ity in�volvem�en�t, artist in�volvem�en�t and project <br />installation and Roseville Bulsin�ess Com�m�uln�it► and Roseville Visitors Association will provide financial <br />support for the celebratory introduction to the com�m�uln�ity. <br />The Amphitheatre renovation project will bulild on com�m�uln�ity energies generated by the Imagine <br />Roseville 2025 Com�m�uln�ity Vision�in�g Process. Imagine Roseville took a th�oulgh�tfull look at Roseville's <br />future. The process was deeply woven into the com�m�uln�ity, completely transparent and pulblic and based <br />on a comprehensive pulblic participation design that involved a broad and deep representation from <br />across the com�m�ulnity. Brainstorming sessions, listening sessions, sulbcom�m�ittee meetings, workshiops <br />and an open h�oulse helped the Imagine Roseville Steering Committee identify fifteen com�m�uln�ity goals, <br />each with a n�ulm�ber of strategies; these strategies identify with Roseville's rich history, strong sense of <br />com�m�uln�ity pride, acceptance of responsibility, willingness to celebrate our uln�iqule position and <br />investment in lifelong opportuln�ities. <br />Roseville Citizens recognize the strong and inclusive sense of com�m�ulnity fouln�d in their hometown. <br />From this affirmation, the following strategy took its place in the Imagine Roseville doculm�en�t; a <br />doculm�en�t that will gulide our com�m�uln�ity into the fultulre. Imagine Roseville has informed our com�m�uln�ity <br />leaders that it is Important for us to n�ulrtulre existing arts programs and consider opportuln�ities for larger- <br />scale arts initiatives, perhaps in connection "withi comimiuln�ity gathering places; in a sense, provide <br />opportuln�ities for the arts to bloom. <br />The Creative Intersections project at Roseville Central Park Amphitheatre will become the cornerstone <br />for fultulre com�m�uln�ity arts endeavors in Roseville. It will reflect the vision of the com�m�uln�ity as it <br />addresses the Imagine Roseville 2025 strategies. It will be representative of the local arts com�m�uln�ity <br />through the involvement of area artists and area arts en�th�ulsiasts as they create the com�m�uln�ity vision for <br />the public art installment. A sense of com�m�uln�ity will resonate from the collaborative efforts of the <br />Roseville Central Park Fouln�dation�, Roseville Parks and Recreation and the local Bulsin�ess Com�m�uln�it► <br />coming together for the renovation, enhancement and celebration of a com�m�uln�ity arts legacy. <br />The Central Park Amphitheatre renovation team has been researching, developing, planning and <br />supporting the Amphitheatre project for the past twelve months. Each member of the team is <br />responsible for an integral part of the project. The coordinating intersection between team members is <br />essential to the overall success of the project. The Creative Intersections project wound bulild on the <br />comprehensive planning and development process established for the overall renovation project. <br />• Roseville Parks and Recreation is a nationally accredited agency with a reputation for maximizing <br />resources and establishing the standard for recreation programs and facilities. Parks and <br />Recreation has long sulpported arts opportuln�ities in the com�m�uln�ity. Parks and Recreation <br />provides opportuln�ities for artists, arts advocates and arts en�th�ulsiasts alike. Parks and <br />Recreation will lead project efforts involving com�m�uln�ity planning process, engaging com�m�uln�ity <br />and encouraging civic connections. Parks and Recreation will manage project finances and act <br />as project manager. <br />• Roseville Central Park Foundation is very driven to maintaining, developing and enhancing the <br />crown jewel in the Roseville Parks System — Roseville Central Park. The Foundation is <br />committed to creating a top qulality urban park where people make connections with the <br />com�m�uln�ity, nature, recreation and the arts. The Foundation has a history of sulpporting the arts <br />in Roseville Central Park, including tactile scullptulres for the enjoyment of the visually impaired as <br />well as sighted, nature inspired scullptulres and performing arts and culltulral events.
