One of <br />those conditions was to efilminate the right-out movement at the right -in / right-out access on <br />I -f, <br />County Road B, J ust east of Su ling A venu e. This con di ti on was suggested by C ty staf who <br />expriessed the following two concerns as the reasons for their suggestion: <br />a) Safety problems.,, presently occur due to motorists who make a right turn onto County <br />Road B at the westerly right turn access and then make a U-turn at the nam access for the <br />ffitu• Mar shopping center. <br />b) The existing safety, problems would worsen with the proposed PUD for outlot 81. <br />We have performed additional data collection and analyses to determine whether the two <br />concenis raised by City staff are actual problems that should be resolved through closure of the <br />41 <br />existing rig tore ut movcment at the westerly access,,-. Thl"IS Memorandum presents the results <br />of our supplemental investigations. <br />DATA COLLECTION <br />To address the concierns raised by City staff, we obtainied the following data: <br />a Field observations and traffic counts at typical buiSy'times, when eastbound U-turns at the <br />County Rio,,:id B/niain access intersection are al 'owed and when they are prohibited. <br />e Crash data for County Road B between the westerly right turn access and the mill <br />access, Inc] uding those two inters ct ions <br />Details reglardi ng data obtained for each of the above items are dose gibed next. <br />
