DESIGN PHASE <br />1. In consultation with the OWNER confirm the general scope., extent,, and character <br />of the Project. <br />2. Hold a Kick-off Meeting to review the Project area drawings with the OWNER <br />and to verify all crosses, tees, hydrant branches, service connections, and the <br />limits of construction. <br />3. Verify any unique concerns of the Project and discuss the steps and schedule <br />including: <br />a. Resident notification (OWNER will send actual notices) <br />b. Temporary house connections, disinfection issues,,, inietering issues, and <br />curb stop concerns/locations <br />C. Traffic and parking concerns <br />d. Street repair requirements <br />C. Excavation and shoring requirements <br />f. Replacement of main valves, hydrant valves, and service valves <br />9- verify all connections on mains, 'including potential abandoned <br />connect-ions <br />h. Define contractor responsibilities and OWNER responsibilities during <br />construction <br />1. Discuss and define coordination issues <br />Permitting requirements I if any <br />k. Sedimentation control issues <br />
