The <br />advertisement for 1989 Contract A shall be published as required by law, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of <br />cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received <br />by the City Manager and the City Public Works Director until 10:00 <br />o'clock a.m. on April 13, 1989, at which time they will be publicly <br />opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City Public Works Director, <br />will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council; <br />and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the <br />Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond <br />payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />3. 1989 Contract B includes the following improvements: P-89-04. <br />The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville <br />Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and <br />specifications.
