Consider a
Recommissioning
tune-up if you:

. Notice that your building doesn't run as well as it used to.
. Suspect your newer building just doesn't run right.
· Think your energy bills run higher than they should.
. Want to ensure that your building systems are running their best.

What: Recommissioning is a tune-up for your building's existing systems that makes them run
the way they're meant to run - efficiently and effectively. Recommissioning studies identify
areas where low- or no-cost system tweaks could save you money, often with fast paybacks.
Recommissioning, by Conservation Wise from Xcel EnergySM, offers study ftmding and
additional rebates for implementing study recommendations.

Where: Any building can qualify, but office buildings, hotels, hospitals and medical facilities,
sports and recreation centers, educational facilities, government and large retail buildings
are especially suitable for Recommissioning.

Why: Recommissioning a building's systems can save an average of 10 percent on eneq,,'Y bills,
often just by adjusting HVAC and other systems.

When: Submit your Recommissioning study preapproval application by March 31,2005,
to qualify for a 25 percent study rebate bonus*.

Your building doesn't have to be old to necd Recommissioning - many newer facilities haven't
been commissioned and have the potential for significant savings with very fast paybacks.

Here's a look at real customers who recently took advantage of our Recommissioning:

Hospital

$170,000

$85,000

0.82

1.
