<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 01110/05 <br />Minutes - Page 9 <br /> <br />City Manager Beets noted that there had been no payout of <br />funds to any litigant, and that pursuant to the terms of the <br />Development Agreement, this litigation initiated in 2001, <br />was currently in arbitration, and that any settlement offer <br />would come before the City Council for authorization. <br /> <br />ACH Payments $498,121.31 <br />37660-37791 510,892.76 <br />Purchasing Cards 5,219.26 <br />Total $1,014,233.33 <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan. <br /> <br />3.h <br /> <br />Approve City Sign Requests for 2005 (Consent Agenda <br />Item 3.h) <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets <br />provided a brief review of this item, noting that the annual <br />request was similar to that of 2004, with the majority of the <br />signage of a temporary nature. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested the type of signage <br />proposed for the City Open House and Fire Department <br />Open House, questioning whether it was a banner. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that it was proposed to be <br />constructed of plywood. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder noted that his concerns had <br />been addressed with the City Manager's response; noting <br />that the City should not be allowed to display banners when <br />they were prohibited for the public by City Ordinance. <br /> <br />Schroeder moved, Maschka seconded, approval of the 2005 <br />sign permit for City uses and promotions as listed in the <br />2005 Sign Summary dated January 10,2005. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />City Sign Requests <br />for 2005 <br />
