She opined that the proposed <br />number of trees allotted to each adjoining property owner, four, <br />seemed skimpy. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke reviewed how staff continued to monitor the <br />developer's adherence with the presented landscape plan, and <br />conditions available to the City Council to direct staff to have <br />further discussion with the developer as the project progresses. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued as to the type and quantity of trees to be <br />provided by the developer to adjoining property owners. <br /> <br />Mr. Theis noted that the development team had looked at more <br />berming or grading for the screening, but space was a problem. <br />Mr. Theis expressed his willingness to work with adjoining <br />property owners for installing one additional coniferous tree per <br />parcel on their property to provide strategic screening. <br /> <br />[9.1] <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, adoption of Resolution <br />No. 10279 entitled, "A Resolution Approving an Amendment to <br />the Comprehensive Plan Map Designation from "B," Business to <br />"HR," High Density Residential for Property located at 1 021 and <br />1017 Larpenteur Avenue (PF 3548);" contingent upon a positive <br />Metropolitan Council review. <br /> <br />Roll Call [9.1] <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />[9.2] <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, approval of the Final Plat for <br />Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Greenhouse Village, creating a senior <br />cooperative lot and lot set-aside for seven (7) town homes with a <br />common lot, and including new utility easements and perpetual <br />joint access and cross parking easements. <br /> <br />Roll Call [9.2] <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
