<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 01/31/05 <br />Minutes - Page 33 <br /> <br />application, appraisal and land; no formal Purchase Agreement at <br />this time on the property; potential Ramsey County participation; <br />and broader-based policy discussions related to the efficient use <br />of public funds. <br />Roll Call [3.0] <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Consider Approving the Semi-Annual Update to Official City <br />Maps Relating to Zoning Districts, the Comprehensive Plan, <br />and Street and Park Maps <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch provide a <br />brief summary of the request to update the City's Zoning, <br />Comprehensive Plan, Parks/Open Space and Existing Land Use <br />maps based on cumulative actions of the City Council over the <br />last year. <br /> <br />[2.0] <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, approval of the revisions to <br />the Zoning, Comprehensive Plan, Parks and Open Space, and <br />Existing Land Use Maps for the period of July 1, 2004 through <br />January 31, 2005. <br />Roll Call [2.0] <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Consider a Request to Create a Fee-Supported Position <br />within the License Center Division, as set forth in the 2005 <br />Budget <br />Finance Director Chris Miller briefly reviewed the request for a <br />new position within the License Center division; reminding <br />Councilmembers that the Center was not dependent on any tax <br />support, but was funded solely from the License Center and that <br />the additional staffing costs and expected revenues were <br />reflected in the 2005 Adopted Budget. Mr. Miller attributed the <br />increase volume of customers and activity to increase in auto <br />dealer and passport customers.
