Until then he <br />49 asked the Committee chairs or leads to notify him of any committee meetings, and Carolyn Curti so <br />50 she could determine if official notice should be posted. Curti asked that committee chairs give her a <br />51 minimum of three days notice before their meetin�s. <br />52 <br />53 Chair Grefenberg encouraged the Outreach Committee to use email lists collected from various <br />54 Commission-sponsored forums far outreach to the community. He mentioned that these lists could <br />55 be used to alert the community about human rights activities both sponsored by the Coinmission <br />56 and not Commission-sponsored. <br />57 <br />58 Commissioners discussed various ways to use the lists, including sending messages about things <br />59 happening in the community. Youth Commissioner Marie Siliciano suggested that the proposed <br />60 Facebook pa�e could be a useful tool for this, by including those messages onto the Facebook page <br />61 she is working on. <br />62 <br />63 <br />64 <br />65 <br />66 <br />67 <br />68 <br />69 <br />70 <br />71 <br />72 <br />73 <br />jCommissioner Thelma McKenzie arrived at this time.l <br />Carolyn Curti distributed an updated Commission roster, reminding commissioners that some <br />information on the roster was non-public. <br />Operations Committee <br />Chair Grefenberg reviewed the Operations Committee report as distributed in the commissioners' <br />packets. The committee reconsidered whether any commissioner may participate/attend standing <br />coinmittees, but they did not take any action. <br />74 The Operations Committee moved that the Commission establish a Youth Engagement Task Force <br />75 to be composed of the youth commissioner and e�€� commissioners Grefenber� and Thao. The <br />76 purpose of this task force is to identify human rights issues, educational opportunities and programs <br />77 to serve youth in the Roseville community. Motion prevailed 6/0/1 with one abstention (McKenzie). <br />78 <br />79 The Operations Committee recommended that the Cominission �e continu�ge membership <br />80 in the League of Minnesota Human Rights Commission (LMHRC), and ���gauthorize the <br />81 pa,y�gment of annual dues of approximately $180. It would be used to post what is happening in the community and would be a <br />good way to reach youth. Commissioner Brisbois asked how a Commissioner could post on the <br />Facebook pa�e if he ar she wanted to publicize a Commission event. Carolyn Curti said the <br />commissioner should send the posting to her or Siliciano, who ^'^�R =T �*'� �'�*�� �*^�� would have <br />administrative rights to add new items to the page. <br />
