<br />Organizational City Council Minutes - 1/5/04 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />met legal requirements, cItmg the example of his <br />understanding that the Sun Focus, Ramsey County Edition <br />circulated their publication as specific drop-off sites, and <br />did not deliver to individual households. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn also challenged the honesty of the staff <br />reporting showing distribution figures provided by the <br />Pioneer Press, East Metro Edition and whether they <br />represented weekday or weekend circulation numbers, <br />opining that this would impact how many residents <br />received public notice infoffi1ation in their homes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough noted the e-mail received by <br />Councilmembers related to the Review's delivery to <br />apartment con1plexes. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to work with the Review on their <br />distribution to multiple-housing facilities it the City. <br /> <br />D. Discussion of City Council Calendar <br />City Manager Beets reviewed the staffs draft of a <br />potential Roseville City Council meeting calendar for <br />2004 as included in the Council Agenda packet. Mr. Beets <br />advised it was intended to provide a start for discussion, <br />and provided for approximately three meetings per month; <br />with the second and fourth Monday's serving as business <br />n1eetings, and the third Monday serving as a work session <br />for more detailed discussion and consideration of various <br />issues coming before the City Council. Mr. Beets noted <br />that the work session could be flexible, and depending on <br />pending issues, could be reformatted to a business meeting <br />if required; noting that all meetings would be posted, <br />published and open to the public. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets noted that the format of the work <br />session could be as formal or informal as the Council <br />desired; could receive staff and public input, and could be <br />used for action items or simply for discussion, with action <br /> <br />Discussion of City <br />Council Calendar <br />
