Hines, 1439
Roselawn Avenue W, expressing his enthusiastic support of the
proposed plan for replacing the road and installing curb, gutter
and sidewalk along Roselawn Avenue between Snelling and
Hamline Avenues.

Maschka moved, Kough seconded, continuing the assessment
hearing to January 30, 2006 for Project 06-02.

Roll Call
Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Kough; Ihlan and Klausing.
Nays: None.

8.

Consider a Request by Kimco Realty to Rezone 1800
Highway 36, former Frank's Nursery and Crafts (PF 3680)
Mayor Klausing noted that this item had been continued to
tonight's meeting for the public's benefit for comment; and for
the applicant to be in attendance.

City Planner Thomas Paschke provided brief overview of request
by Kimco Realty Corporation for rezoning (from B-1, Limited
Business District to B-2, Retail Business District) to allow the
redevelopment of the former Frank's Nursery and Crafts
property into a retail/office development. Mr. Paschke noted that
the current proposal called for a remodel of the existing 18,480
square foot Frank's structure, construction of an 8,000 square
foot addition on the east; and construction of a 7,085 square foot
bank with drive thru.

Ordinance 1331
Request by Kimco
Realty to Rezone
1800 Highway 36
(PF 3680)
