Recognitions, Donations, Communications 6.a Proclamation - "National Night Out" Roseville Police Department Crime Prevention Specialist Heather Darby outlined planned activities for recognizing National Night Out. Ms. Darby encouraged residents to contact her at 651-792-7209, or via the web site at www.cityofroseville.com/police. and requested that the City Council take action on the proposed proclamation in support of this event. Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council, called upon all citizens of Roseville to join Roseville Neighborhood Watch Groups and the National Association of Town Watch in supporting the 21 st Annual National Night Out on August 3, 2004. 7. Twin Lakes Redevelopment Project: Discussion of Roseville Development and Redevelopment Policies - such as those pertaining to Tax Increment Financing (TIF), the Use of Eminent Domain, Environmental Clean-Up, and Incentives and/or Assistance for Housing, Retail, or Office Projects. Finance Director Chris Miller presented a narrative for Council consideration of various policies related to current redevelopment and financing assistance; and their relationship and impact on the proposed Twin Lakes Redevelopment area. Mr. Miller reviewed general or philosophical policies, as well as financial policy issues for the City Council information and review, to allow them to make an informed decision. Mr. Miller requested that Councilmembers provide their personal opinions on these issues tonight, reserving the abili ty to make final decisions at a later time.
