Mr. Beets suggested <br />that, if the Council so directed, that portion of the project <br />could be delayed until the Council's August 9, 2004 regular <br />meeting, pending notification of the 10 households on <br />Centennial Drive. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing questioned what additional information <br />could be provided from residents that would cause the <br />Council to deviate from the traffic analysis and <br />recommended design standards. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough encouraged consultation with the <br />neighborhood to retain the close relationship evidenced <br />with residents throughout the project's development. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding whether to approve the entire <br />traffic plan, or to provide notice to the Centennial cul-de- <br />sac neighborhood prior to adoption. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined her support to notify the <br />entire neighborhood, including those moving into the <br />proj ect, prior to approval. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued related to specifics on who to <br />notify and how to do so; and anticipated move in at <br />Applewood Pointe beginning mid-August. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing directed staff to remove this item from <br />tonight's agenda pending notification to residents along <br />Centennial and County Road C-2. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder opined that the warrant analysis <br />performed was a good analysis, noting that Arona is a <br />through street, and the City Council should abide by the <br />analysis; that there was no reason to notify owners; and that <br />traffic manuals should be followed and signs installed as <br />laid out. Councilmember Schroeder further opined that, if <br />complaints were forthcoming, then others could get <br />involved as appropriate. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough expressed concern about additional <br />
