<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 07/26/04 <br />Minutes - Page 17 <br /> <br />Designation of Certain Real Property at 2597 Cleveland Avenue <br />From B-4, Retail Office Service District, to B-3, General <br />Business District." <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />[8.2] Maschka moved, Kough seconded, adoption of Resolution <br />No. 10233 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Conditional Use <br />Permit for Rod Ellison to Allow the Redevelopment of 2597 <br />Cleveland Avenue into a 9,000 Square Foot Office, Auto Service <br />and Auto Leasing Facility (PF 3582)." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Real Life Church, 2353 North Chatsworth, Conditional Use <br />Permit (PF 3583) <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke provided an overview of the <br />request of the applicant, which would include a new access from <br />Grandview, as well as ponding for stormwater management, <br />currently in the process of being designed and approved. Mr. <br />Paschke reviewed the history of the City Council's action several <br />years ago, changing the zoning ordinance to require that <br />churches in residential zones to apply for a Conditional Use <br />Permit (CUP). <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka clarified, with Mr. Paschke <br />confirming, that the proposed site plan presented tonight was that <br />as modified by the Planning Commission as it related to parking <br />and access. <br /> <br />Discussion included the applicant's need to return to the <br />Planning Commission for further parking lot expansion, rather <br />than the applicant's original request that future parking needs be <br />addressed at this time; whether additional parking off street was <br />required, given the availability of on street parking in this <br />neighborhood and supported by the neighbors at the Public <br />Hearing. <br /> <br />Resolution 10234 <br />Real Life Church <br />2353 N Chatsworth <br />Conditional Use <br />Permit (PF 3583) <br />
