<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 10/11/04 <br />Minutes - Page 7 <br /> <br />Beets assured Councilmembers that the purchase was not <br />for personal use. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke addressed <br />the purchase; and assured them that it was as described by <br />City Manager Beets for Adult Trip activities. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder noted that part of the problem <br />was in the purchase card statements not providing enough <br />detail for Councilmembers information. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of the following <br />claims and payments as presented: <br /> <br />ACH Payments $12,007.12 <br />36381 - 36422 208,989.44 <br />Purchasing Cards 5,029.69 <br />Total $226,026.25 <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstentions: Kough and Schroeder. <br /> <br />4.b <br /> <br />Approve a Contract to Evaluate Stormwater and Water <br />Quality Improvements Relating to the South Bay of <br />Lake Owasso and Ladyslipper Park (Consent Agenda <br />Item 3.e) <br />City Manager Beets provided background information on <br />this request. Mr. Beets noted that the City was anticipating <br />reconstruction of South Owasso Boulevard as part of the <br />2005 Pavement Reconstruction program; noting the <br />location of Ladyslipper Park directly adjacent to the <br />project. Mr. Beets briefly reviewed the design options <br />discussed in the 1993 feasibility report performed by <br />S.E.H. Consulting Engineers, and alternative designs under <br />consideration at this time due to changing circumstances <br />and design requirements (i.e., wetland delineation and <br />stormwater regulation permitting changes). <br /> <br />Contract <br />Evaluate <br />Stormwater and <br />Water Quality <br />Improvements <br />Lake Owasso and <br />Ladyslipper Park <br />
