<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/06/04 <br />Minutes - Page 33 <br /> <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan suggested increasing the size of the Public <br />Works and Transportation Commission from five to seven <br />members as they absorbed environmental issues. <br />Councilmember Ihlan spoke in support of incorporating the <br />environmental responsibilities with this standing commission, <br />even though she had originally proposed a separate commission, <br />but accepted this as a good compromise. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that staff had not included that <br />component, as a clear Council majority had not supported <br />increasing the size of the Commission. <br /> <br />There was no consensus at this time for increasing the Public <br />Works Commission to seven members. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Maschka seconded, waiving the First Reading <br />and enacting Ordinance No. 1313 entitled, "An Ordinance <br />Amending Title 2 of the Roseville City Code, Changing Sections <br />201.03, 204.04, 205.01 and 205.04 thereof relating to the Size of <br />the Human Rights Commission, the Length of Terms on the <br />Planning Commission, and the Name and Mission of the Public <br />Works and Transportation Commission." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Maschka seconded, adoption of Resolution No. <br />10266 entitled, "A Resolution Amending Resolution 9372 to <br />Change the Reappointment Process and Term Limits for <br />Roseville Citizen Advisory Commissions," as amended. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
