<br />City Council Special Meeting - 12/27/04 <br />Minutes - Page 16 <br /> <br />effective July 1, 2005; and <br />4) Police Cadet, eliminated effective July 1, 2005. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough expressed concern regarding recent <br />maintenance contract experiences of the Roseville School <br />District; and spoke in opposition to the motion for elimination of <br />the maintenance position. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing spoke in support of the motion, even though at a <br />higher level than he preferred; recognizing the explanation <br />provided by Councilmember Maschka related to rationale for <br />tonight's budget. Mayor Klausing expressed disappointment in <br />the Council's inability to provide specific proposals, while not <br />being willing to consider recommendations of the City Manager <br />for alternative revenue sources. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan spoke in support of the budget with <br />reservations which were more related to the process, rather than <br />the budget.
