<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 1/13/03 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Association, provided the 2002 Annual Report to the City Annual Report <br />Council. Mr. Lobaido said that, overall, Roseville did well <br />while the region struggled in 2002. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaido spoke about how the RV A was funded, it's <br />marketing efforts, how the RV A tracks its results, and its <br />strategy for the future. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough asked what conventions came to <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaido responded about the popularity of motor coach <br />tours. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough also asked about partnering with the <br />University. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaido responded that the RV A was currently meeting <br />with planners at the University to inform them about the <br />hotels in Roseville. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing asked which advertisements were <br />more successful. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaida responded that the RV A does not track <br />responses to types of advertisements. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough asked about the "Happenings" book. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaida responded that they were focusing on <br />producing a coupon book at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder asked about promoting <br />neighboring communities and vice versa. <br /> <br />Mr. Lobaida responded that it was an idea worth exploring. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn asked about creating links to the RV A <br />website from user websites, such as the Street Rod <br />Association. <br />
