<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 1/13/03 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder asked about the future for this <br />particular room as a Council Chambers. He also asked for a <br />schematic plan that makes all the equipment fit together. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn indicated that the current Chambers <br />were probably not adequate for quality cable casting. He <br />estimated a $1 - $2 Million cost for new Council chambers, <br />perhaps in the space to the east of the current Chambers. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder and Klausing spoke in favor of <br />improving the current room. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn spoke in favor of making this rOOlTI <br />more handicap accessible. <br /> <br />Mr. Pratt indicated that some ADA plans have been <br />discussed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka spoke in favor of considering the <br />Audio/Visual equipment needs in the new Police addition. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn asked for more information over the <br />next three (3) months, including accessibility and new <br />Police Department building considerations, especially <br />involving the training room. <br /> <br />C.
