Ms. Bloom advised that staff was <br />proposing a modified hammerhead, not cul-de-sac; after <br />Council comments on additional options for consideration <br />following presentation of the Feasibility report in January <br />of 2003. Ms. Bloom addressed the private driveways and <br />their unique situation and assessable frontage in an effort <br />to further reduce the per foot assessment rate. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called for public input at this time. <br /> <br />Linda Strom, 2247 North Victoria Street <br />Ms. Strom expressed confusion regarding the width of the <br />roadway; opposing a twenty-four foot (24') roadway, as <br />originally being considered. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn clarified that the motion before the <br />Council was for a twenty-eight foot (28') roadway. <br /> <br />Ms. Wally Jondahl, 2241 Victoria Street <br />Ms. J ondahl expressed support of the wider roadway; but <br />appeared confused regarding the modified cul-de-sac <br />design and its width. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom reviewed the diameter of the proposed cul-de- <br />sac, stating that it had been used successfully in the past. <br /> <br />Ms. Jondahl stated that she didn't use the cul-de-sac <br />herself, but observed mail trucks and school buses using it, <br />and wondered if they would be accommodated. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn stated that it should be usable, but <br />could be posted for "No Parking" ifnecessary. <br /> <br />Ms. Jondahl expressed no preference on this issue. <br /> <br />No one else appeared for or against <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn closed the Public Hearing at 8:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough sought clarification regarding <br />driveway aprons and right-of-way easements required. <br />
