<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 2/10/03 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough also asked for corner lot formulas <br />used and sought assurance that residents were aware of <br />this opportune time for replacement of their residential <br />water and! or sewer services is necessary. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder expressed his support of the <br />revised cul-de-sac design, but recommended staff further <br />define the public vs. private spaces between the two <br />driveways in that area. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom advised that staff would pursue that <br />recommendation, and report back on their resolution for <br />this further definition. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough suggested that the City Council <br />initiate a program to update driveways from bituminous to <br />concrete, recommending a City-sponsored compensation <br />plan. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom advised that the City provided for a rebated <br />cost differential between bituminous and concrete for <br />residents already. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder congratulated staff on their <br />work to minimize right-of-way and tree removal impacts <br />in this area. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn suggested that the motion include <br />separation of the two driveways under discussion by a <br />minimum of five feet (5 '). <br /> <br />Neighborhood 68 <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened the Public Hearing at 8:55 <br />p.m., reminding the audience that the motion before the <br />Council called for a twenty-eight foot (28') roadway <br />width. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom briefly reviewed this portion of the project, <br />stating that Pineview Court presented another cul-de-sac; <br />but that the assessable frontage was the only real issue; <br />and that the steep slope would be matched back into the <br />
