<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 02/13/06 <br />Minutes - Page 30 <br /> <br />number of residents seeking him out for a solution to their <br />parking concerns, and his perception that staff was not providing <br />resolution for them. Councilmember Kough suggested <br />expanding the existing Public Safety Committee with the <br />addition of a Councilmember and three citizens. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing opined that the City Council served as one <br />element of City government, and as a part-time, volunteer <br />Council, they relied on the expertise of staff, and their input <br />would prove valuable. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan, while opining that she wasn't opposed to <br />staff input, sought to introduce the possible Task Force concept <br />to provide resolution for the residents. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough Comments <br />Councilmember Kough, noting that he was unable to attend the <br />last Council meeting and following his review of the tape from <br />that meeting, expressed disappointment that at least three major <br />items were discussed and voted upon without the benefit of a full <br />Council. Councilmember Kough expressed his preference that <br />future decision-making would be completed with a full Council <br />present. <br /> <br />16.
