<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 6/02/03 <br />Page 32 <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka recommended that the City <br />continue to fund the Association to the level as in the <br />past, and leave the unfunded liability at this time, <br />anticipating a reduction in liability as the economy and <br />stock market stabilized over the next few months, at <br />which time, additional funding requirements should be <br />reduced considerably or eliminated entirely. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Klausing seconded, not taking any <br />action at this time in revising the City contribution to the <br />Roseville Fire Relief Association to await market <br />improvements for the remainder of 2003. <br /> <br />Finance Director Miller and City Attorney Squires <br />conferred regarding the minimum municipal obligation <br />required under MN Statute 424A, as amended; and sought <br />to review the Statute in more detail; and to report back to <br />the City Council with their findings if there were need to <br />reopen this issue. Councilmembers concurred. <br /> <br />Klausing moved an amendment to the motion, Maschka <br />seconded, to leave the City's contribution to the Roseville <br />Fire Relief Association as adopted in the 2003 Budget, <br />subj ect to review by Finance Director Miller and Legal <br />Counsel. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Schroeder, Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. <br />None. <br /> <br />x. <br /> <br />Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> <br />A. Citizen's Request to Revise the City's Massage <br />Therapy Code <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, setting a public <br />hearing for June 16, 2003 to consider amending City <br />Code, Chapter 309, related to the licensing of massage <br />establishments and massage therapists. <br /> <br />Mr. Sal Alerno and Mr. Tom Ding Gong, representing <br /> <br />Ordinances & <br />Resolutions <br /> <br />Citizen's Request to <br />Revise the City's <br />Massage Therapy <br />Code <br />
