<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 03/13/06 <br />Minutes - Page 7 <br /> <br />the recognized the over 450 hours of volunteer services <br />provided for the event. <br /> <br />Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, adoption of Resolution No. <br />10385 entitled, "Resolution of Appreciation for Sponsors <br />and Volunteers of the 2006 Home and Garden Fair;" <br />specifically thanking private sponsors and community <br />volunteers, as well as members of the Home and Garden <br />Fair Coordinating Committee. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Consider a Request by Jon Forman Minor Subdivision at <br />2161 County Road B (PF 3699); Continued from January 30, <br />2006 <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke recapped the request of Jon <br />Forman, 2161 County Road B, for a Minor Subdivision to create <br />three parcels, one with an existing house that meets or exceeds <br />all City regulations for an interior lot, a second parcel (vacant) <br />meeting or exceeding all requirements for an interior lot, and the <br />third parcel (vacant) meeting all requirements for the comer lot <br />at County Road B and Acorn Road. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka arrived at 6:25 p.m. <br /> <br />The applicant, Mr. Forman, was also present. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />George A. LeTendre, 2121 W County Road B <br />Mr. LeTendre spoke in opposition to the proposed request; and <br />presented several "what-if' scenarios and design examples, to <br />dispute the Council's interpretation of the ordinance and his <br />perception of potential absurd results from legally-defined lots. <br />Mr. LeTendre asked the Council to deny the minor subdivision <br />and review the City's current ordinance. <br /> <br />Kim Kelly-Summer, 1152 Shryer Avenue <br />Ms. Kelly-Summer, as the potential purchaser of Lot B, spoke in <br />support of the request.
