The Ramsey County <br />Manager is preparing a proposal to lead a county-wide study in response to this <br />identified priority. <br /> <br />· Joint Human Resources Activities <br />The City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County are exploring ways to do joint hiring of <br />entry-level jobs. <br /> <br />· Inclusiveness In Contractinq <br />Collaboration between Ramsey County (Property Management and Workforce <br />Solutions), the Building Trades Council, and the Association of General Contractors <br />on inclusiveness in contracting. <br /> <br />· Library Services Planninq <br />> Joint planning by Ramsey County and the City of North Saint Paul for a possible <br />Capital Improvement Plan for library services in North Saint Paul. <br />> Joint planning by the Ramsey County Library, Ramsey County Parks and <br />Recreation Department, the City of Arden Hills and the community for a library <br />and environmental education facility in Arden Hills. <br /> <br />· Joint planninq for Riverfront Properties <br />Ramsey County, the City of Saint Paul, the Riverfront Development Corporation, the <br />Saint Paul Port Authority, and the business community are jointly assessing whether <br />there is a reuse for Ramsey County riverfront propel1ies. <br /> <br />Under the current budget constraints being felt by local governments, Ramsey County <br />and the local municipalities, school districts, and watershed districts are actively <br />engaged in discussing other opportunities that will provide the most cost-effective, <br />quality services to our citizens. Ramsey County administration is fully committed to <br />participating in these types of cooperative efforts for the benefit of Ramsey County <br />residents. <br /> <br />cam <br />
