<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 9/15/03 <br />Page 24 <br /> <br />remainder of the land sale proceeds set aside for eligible <br />city use to be determined by the City Council. <br /> <br />While supporting the concept of the motion, <br />Councilmember Kough spoke against the motion without <br />specifically identifying funds for a proposed Community <br />Center. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder, Klausing and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: Kough. <br /> <br />Recess Recess <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn recessed the meeting at 11 :37 p.m. and <br />reconvened the meeting at 11 :40 p.m. <br /> <br />IX. <br /> <br />Organizational Business <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Consider Approving a Tentative, Not-to-Exceed 2004 <br />Tax Levy for the Roseville Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority (BRA) <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10140 entitled, "A Resolution Submitting <br />a Preliminary Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in <br />and for the City of Roseville Special Property Tax Levy <br />on Real Estate to the Ramsey County Auditor for the <br />Fiscal Year of 2004," in the amount of $200,000. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough requested that the HRA involve <br />the City Council in their decision-making process with <br />more detailed communication in the future. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing commented that the City <br />Council, upon creation of the HRA, had provided the <br />authority for their actions. <br /> <br />Bill Majerus, HRA Chair <br />Mr. Majerus assured Councilmembers that the HRA <br />would take the initiative to improve communication with <br />the City Council to confirm their direction in future <br />decision-making processes. <br /> <br />Organizational <br />Business <br /> <br />Resolution 10140 <br />Tentative, Not-to- <br />Exceed 2004 Tax <br />Levy for the <br />Roseville HRA <br />
