<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 11/24/03 <br />Page 20 <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened and closed the Public Hearing <br />at 9:58 p.m., with no one appearing for or against. <br /> <br />Finance Director Chris Miller noted that this year's <br />delinquency list indicated normal collection rates were <br />being n1aintained, wi th no substantial increase in <br />delinquencies. Mr. Miller anticipated that approximately <br />one-fourth of the delinquencies will be collected between <br />notice and certification, as in prior years. <br /> <br />While Councilmember Kough questioned if staff should <br />outsource collections, Finance Director Miller that it <br />would be an unnecessary expense, given the City's ability <br />to collect through direct payn1ent or certification to the <br />property taxes. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />VII.
