<br />Regular City Council- 12/15/03 Minutes <br />Page 22 <br /> <br />Bonded Debt." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, adoption of Resolution <br />No. 101 77 entitled, "Resolution Adopting the Final 2004 <br />Annual Budget for the City of Roseville;" subject to the <br />addition of a one-time $103,670 payment to be taken from <br />reserves to meet the unfunded liability of the Fire Relief <br />Association and increasing the overall 2004 Budget by <br />that amount. ($14,099,590 + $103,670 = $$14,203,260). <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, cancellation of <br />Special Council meeting called by Mayor Kysylyczyn for <br />Thursday, December 18, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing spoke in favor of the n10tion. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder expressed concern regarding <br />recognition of Passover and impacts on the Special <br />Election schedule; and the possible need to declare a <br />vacancy on January 2, rather than January 5, 2004. <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested additional <br />information from staff as soon as possible regarding <br />potential conflicts with religious leaders. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn concurred with Councilmember <br />Schroeder's comments and the need for expediting the <br />process. <br /> <br />Counciln1en1ber Kough opined that this City Council will <br />do the best thing in the best interest of the community; and <br />will move forward with the Special Election process as <br />quickly as possible. <br />
