<br />Regular City Council- 12/15/03 Minutes <br />Page 23 <br /> <br />Councilmembers Maschka and Klausing concurred and <br />confirmed their commitment to expedite the process. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn continued to debate and dispute the <br />issue, and encouraged citizens to pack the City Council <br />Chambers on January 5, 2004 to prevent certain people <br />from stalling the process and appointment of a pet political <br />candidate. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />B. City Center Campus Time Capsule and Monument <br />Plaque <br />Counciln1ember Kough requested authorization to work <br />with staff in developing a time capsule and monument <br />plaque to commemorate the new construction at the City <br />Center campus. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn noted that this would be consistent <br />with past action during construction of the existing City <br />Hall building in 1975. Mayor Kysylyczyn reviewed his <br />preference for wording on the plaque (no copy available) <br />and made several other suggestions. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded, approval of plans to <br />appropriate reserve funds not to exceed $5,000 for the <br />creation of a time capsule and monument plaque to <br />commemorate the construction at the City Center campus <br />during 2003/2004. Councilmember Kough was authorized <br />to work with staff and various community groups in <br />gathering materials for this proj ect. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />2004 Legal Newspaper Designation <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn moved, without second, to direct staff <br />
