<br />City Council Minutes - 03/04/02 <br />Page 4 of9 <br /> <br />They declined, saying they were satisfied with what Mr. <br />Welsch said so far. <br />Schroeder asked about parking in neighborhoods <br />adjacent to these proposed sites. <br /> <br />Kough moved Schroeder seconded, to approve the <br />request by the Minnesota State Fair for seven Interim <br />Use Permits to allow temporary off-street parking of <br />vehicles and bus transportation to the Fair Ground; for <br />Bethany Baptist Church, Church of Corpus Christi, <br />Grace Church of Roseville, Roseville Covenant Church, <br />Roseville Area High School, St. Michael's Lutheran <br />Church, and The Church of St. Rose, subject to the <br />conditions recommended by the Planning Commission in <br />Section 7 of this project report. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br /> <br />B. City of Roseville Request for Amendment to the City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Land Use Map Designation of Vacant Rezoning <br />Property Commonly Known at 1074 Roselawn Avenue 1074 Roselawn <br />from Low Density Residential and Business to High (PF3224) <br />Density Residence, Consistent with a Residential <br />Planned Unit Development (PF3224). <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn asked that Welsch display the 3-D pictures <br />showing the location of the buildings on the site, as <br />originally proposed and Alternative B. Kough asked <br />about the depth of the storm drainage ponds and about <br />snow removal. Kysylyczyn called the developer, <br />Michael Cronin, Accessible Space, Incorporated, <br />forward. Mr. Cronin spoke about the history of the <br />development, snow storage, and his preference for the <br />original site plan. Kysylyczyn then asked neighbors to <br />come forward and comment: <br />Carol Wagner, resident: She supported the original plan. <br />Ed Pawlick, resident: He supported Option B. <br />Mr. Cronin spoke about pulling the apartments back 15 <br />more feet, for a total setback of 30 feet. <br />Dick Houck, resident: He supported Option B. He also <br />opposed tax funds for this proj ect. <br />Paul Nerim, resident: He fully supported the project, <br />either the original proposal or Option B. <br />
