Kysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, to approve the First Phase of the General Concept Plan of the Arona Site Planned Unit Development, creating the foundation from which a developer (selected by the City Council) will design and submit for processing the General Concept and Final Development Plan as required in Section 1008 of the Roseville City Code, for a predominantly residential redevelopment consistent with the purpose and intent of the Arona/Hamline Neighborhood Master Plan and Section 4.7 of this report, Recommended Redevelopment Concepts. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. Kough moved, Klausing seconded, to find that the Project is consistent with the Arona/Hamline Neighborhood Master Plan (Comprehensive Plan) in terms of general density, size, diversity of housing stock and attempting to meet life cycle housing needs of residents, and to approve the first reading of an ordinance rezoning of the parcel from Limited Business District (B-1) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) with an underlying zoning of General Residence District (R- 3). It is understood that the PUD cannot take effect until after the approval of the Concept Plan, approval of the second reading of the zoning ordinance, approval of the final PUD and subdivision agreements and publication of the approved ordinance.
