Nays: none. <br />V. Reports & Recommendations <br />A. Authorization for Application to Host the 2004/2006 2004/2006 Winter <br />Winter National Senior Olympics <br />Brokke reviewed the proposed Application. <br />Kough moved, Kysylyczyn seconded, to authorize the <br />application for the hosting of the US National Senior <br />Winter Olympics in either 2004 or 2006 with the <br />application fee to be taken from the 2002 Contingency <br />Fund. <br />Kough spoke in favor of the motion. Kysylyczyn spoke <br />of his concerns about financial projections. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />B. Retiree Access to Fire Stations <br />Gasaway indicated that the retirees and active fire <br />fighters agreed upon the document in the Council's <br />packet. Carrier verified Gasaway's comments and asked <br />about an effective date. Kough spoke in favor of <br />approving the document. <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, to accept the <br />document in the Council packet that had been agreed <br />upon by active and retired firefighters, and establishing <br />an April 1 effective date. <br />Kysylyczyn asked for comments from the audience and <br />there were none. <br />National Senior <br />Olympics <br />Retiree Access to <br />Fire Stations <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, <br />Kysylyczyn.
