City Council Regular Meeting - 09/11/06 Minutes - Page 15 PRELIMINARY PLAT, creating II single-family lots as presented in the Sketch Plan entitled, "Parks ide Addition" dated August 31, 2006. Councilmember Ihlan spoke in support of the motion; opining that in supporting the Preliminary Plat, she didn't want the applicant to give up their attempt in meeting the requirements for an affordable housing component to comply with the DEED Grant application. Councilmember Ihlan encouraged the City and School District to pool resources to meaningfully designate one of the single-family homes as an affordable home; and she would support that goal. Mayor Klausing noted that it would be in the best interest of the applicant to do so in order to qualify for the grant. Roll Call Ayes: Maschka; Ihlan; Kough; Pust and Klausing. Nays: None. Maschka moved, Pust seconded, approval of the REZONING from B-1, Limited Business District to Planned Unit Development with an underlying zoning of R-I, Single-Family Residence District (II single-family lots); contingent upon future approval of the FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN. Roll Call Ayes: Maschka; Ihlan; Kough; Pust and Klausing. Nays: None. Maschka moved, Pust seconded, approval of the GENERAL CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN as presented at tonight's meeting, and dated August 31, 2006, and as generally described in Section 4 of the project report and subject to the conditions stipulated in Section 7 (as amended by the Planning Commission on August 2, 2006) of the project report dated August 28, 2006, and the staff report as revised and dated September II, 2006; and amended with the language of Condition 7.2 revised to reference only "single family homes" and language referencing "town homes" deleted.
