I believe our pathways also <br />benefit the entire city, therefore the city should establish a standard pathway design to be installed. <br />Therefore: <br />All properties that abut an existing or proposed pathway pay no assessment for pathway <br />improvements. <br /> <br />STREETS CAPE <br />A streetscape is defined as right-of-way improvements outside of normal replacements or restoration <br />of landscape or pedestrian elements adjacent to roadways meant to visually and functionally improve <br />the pedestrian and vehicular transportation network. <br /> <br />Based on previous Council <br />for streets cape improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />that abut <br /> <br /> <br />pay no assessment <br /> <br />CITY STREETS (NON-MSA) <br />Current assessment policy is: <br />CD R1 and R2 properties pay on an assessable front footage basis 25% of the cost for a 7-ton, 32 <br />foot wide pavement with concrete curb and gutter for that segment of the entire project. <br />CD Tax exempt properties pay on an assessable front footage basis 100% of the cost for a 7-ton <br />32 foot wide pavement with concrete curb and gutter based upon the cost for that segment of <br />the entire project. <br />All others properties are assessed on an assessable footage at 100% for the specific type <br />of roadway they abut. <br />
