<br />City Council Minutes 07/15/02 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Agenda Change - Return to Work Session (Item II. A.) <br />Kysylyczyn returned to a review of the public <br />information pieces for a November facility referendum <br />relating to the Police Department and Public Works <br />Maintenance Facility. <br /> <br />Curti reviewed the potential information pieces: one <br />page handouts and flyers, Cable Channel 16 Bulletin <br />Board notice, potential NewsFax and Roseville WRAP <br />articles. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn asked about a door-to-door brochure that <br />passes "the 30-second test." He also asked about a <br />slideshow presentation for community groups. <br /> <br />Agenda Change - Return to Communications <br />I. Communications <br />B. Kough noted an open Citizens' Forum tomorrow, in the <br />Council Chambers, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., to talk about <br />a Community Center. <br /> <br />Agenda Additions <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, to delete Rule <br />13 of the City Council's Standing Rules of Procedure. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing, <br />and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, as follows: <br /> <br />"I move to authorize the Mayor and City Attorney, to <br />contact and prepare a contract to retain services for the <br />position of Recording Secretary, pursuant to Council <br />Rules and Procedures adopted January 7, 2002. <br /> <br />Klausing asked for information and asked that the <br />concept be run by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Schroeder spoke in favor of the motion.
