Reco2nitions <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />VFW Donation of Automated External Defibrillator <br /> <br />Kough moved, Schroeder seconded, to authorize <br />acceptance of the donation of an automatic external <br />defibrillator, valued at $2,182 from the Roseville VFW <br />Post 7555. <br /> <br />Staffwas directed to provide a written letter of <br />appreciation to Post 7555. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />2002 National Night Out Proclamation <br />Heather Darby from the city's Police Department <br />announced the annual National Night Out scheduled for <br />August 6, 2002, as pronounced by Proclamation <br />presented for the Mayor and City Manager's signatures. <br /> <br />Ms. Darby and city staff have been made aware of at least <br />forty-three (43) block parties to-date. <br /> <br />By consensus, Mayor Kysylyczyn and City Manager <br />Beets were authorized to sign the Proclamation. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn reminded citizens, in particular <br />neighborhood block captains, that names and addresses <br />on neighborhood lists are protected by data privacy laws, <br />and if the Council's participation is requested, the block <br />captains need to contact Councilmembers directly. <br /> <br />VFW Donation <br /> <br />Proclamation <br />National Night Out <br />
