Reports & Recommendations <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Arona Master Plan: Developer Recommendations <br />(based on interviews) <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, to receive the <br />ten (10) development proposals and the City Staff Team <br />Report and recommendation for City Council review of <br />the four (4) development proposals for the Arona site as <br />recommended by the Review Team: <br />o MetroPlains Development for "PrimRose Village;" <br />o Timbercraft Homes proposal for "Arana Village;" <br />o Town & Country proposal for 148 total residential <br />housing units; and <br />o United Properties - Roseville Churches Coalition <br />proposal for a total of 103 housing units; <br />based upon the approved Arona/Hamline Neighborhood <br />Master Plan, with the City Council reserving the right to <br />review any of the additional proposals; with interviews to <br />be held for twenty (20) minutes per firm, and scheduled <br />for a Work Session at Councilmember Schroeder's <br />discretion. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch <br />provided a brief history of the area redevelopment <br />discussions held with residents and the city's Planning <br />Commission, and the resulting Requests for Proposals <br />being discussed this evening. <br /> <br />Mr. Welsch reviewed the process involved and selection <br />criteria for determining which firms to recommend to the <br />City Council for further interviewing. <br /> <br />Mr. Welsch expressed the city and staffs appreciation to <br />each of the development teams for their professionalism <br />and respect toward the City Staff Review Team consisting <br /> <br />Arona Master Plan: <br />Developer <br />Recommendations <br />
