<br />City Council Minutes - 08/19/02 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />provide solutions to density and open space concerns. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />None. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded approval of the first <br />reading of an ordinance rezoning the parcels at 2245, <br />2263 and 2275 County Road B from Single Family <br />Residence District (R -1) to Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) with an underlying zoning of Two Family <br />Residence (R-2). <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />None. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Consideration of the Viking Racing Pigeon Club's <br />Request for a Variance at 716 County Road C (PF <br />3393) <br />Community Development Director Welsch reviewed the <br />variance request to allow a shed to remain within the <br />required thirty foot (30') setback for a public right-of- <br />way and to allow a previously completed driveway <br />replacement to remain, as recommended by the Planning <br />Commission and staff. <br /> <br />The applicant was not present for comment and there <br />were no public comments. <br /> <br />Councilmembers expressed their displeasure that the <br />contractor did not make application for a Building Permit <br />at the time the improvements were completing, avoiding <br />necessitating this variance. <br /> <br />City Attorney Jamnik stated that, Council could include <br />a condition to the variance, doubling the permit fee, as <br />per City code, but that it would impact the property <br />owner, rather than the contractor. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Kough seconded adoption of <br /> <br />Resolution 10021 <br />Viking Racing <br />Pigeon Club <br />Request for <br />Variance <br />716 County Rd.
