<br />City Council Minutes 08/19/02 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Audience members expressed their agreement with Mr. <br />Wildrea's comments. <br /> <br />Dick Lambert, 800 Brenner Avenue <br />Mr. Lambert asked how residents were assured that their <br />property would remain zoned as it was when they <br />originally purchased the property, and requested <br />Councilmembers keep faith with surrounding <br />landowners. <br /> <br />Henry Hebert, 2216 Fulham Street <br />Mr. Hebert spoke to existing drainage issues and his <br />sense of a lack of control for what is happening. Mr. <br />Hebert spoke in favor of the Planned Unit Development, <br />as the developer was addressing existing drainage issues, <br />as well as those created by the development. Mr. Hebert <br />expressed his appreciation for the developer's <br />cooperation in working with residents in the <br />neighborhood, and that the development would achieve <br />additional long-term positive affects in increased tax <br />monies for the community and School District. <br /> <br />George Letendre, 2121 West County Road B <br />Mr. Letendre spoke to this developer's reputation and his <br />quali ty work. Mr. Letendre also stated that the proj ect <br />did bring diversity into the area, but that change was <br />always difficult to accept. <br /> <br />Doug Thompson, 2196 Fulham Street <br />Mr. Thompson spoke to the removal of green space in <br />the City and a proliferation of town home developments <br />that don't address green space. <br /> <br />Gretchen Coons, 2292 West Laurie Road <br />Ms. Koombs spoke to single-family homes being <br />provided within an association to ensure quality. <br /> <br />Lois Forsblad, 1057 Harriet Lane (Town home on <br />Harriet Lane at Roselawn and Lexington) <br />Ms. Horsblad stated that she lived in a town home <br />previously developed by Masterpiece Homes, and spoke <br />
