Northwestern College Bond Hearing <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded, calling for a Public <br />Hearing on September 23, 2002 to consider issuing bonds for <br />Northwestern College. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing asked why this item was resurfacing, <br />following majority Council action at the August 19, 2002 <br />regular Council meeting; quoting previous comments of Mayor <br />Kysylyczyn regarding moving forward once an action had been <br />determined. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn referred to the motion on the table, and <br />stated that Councilmember Klausing should bring his concerns <br />forward for discussion at the Public Hearing proposed for <br />September 23rd, and called the motion. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Kough, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. <br />Maschka and Klausing. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />Public Safety and Public Works Facilities <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded adoption of Resolution <br />No. 10030 entitled, "Resolution Calling for an Election on <br />$9,000,000 General Obligation Bonds for Public Safety and <br />Public Works Facilities," calling for a special election, and <br />approving the official ballot language for the purposes of <br />issuing General Obligation Bonds. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka stated that he would not be <br />supporting a bond issue for $9,000,000, when the project had <br />been cost-estimated at $10,400,000.
