<br />Special City Council Meeting -10/31/06 <br />Minutes - Page 4 <br /> <br />but had been under consideration by individual Councilmembers <br />during the preceding week. <br /> <br />SECOND TALLY <br />Candidates #1 and #9 received top votes. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing concurred with Mr. Bmll's suggestion that the <br />same process be used one more time for a third tally; but <br />suggested a discussion before that third tally. <br /> <br />Councilmembers concurred and a brief discussion ensued <br />regarding remaining candidates. <br /> <br />Mr. Bmll suggested that the third tally again include three <br />candidates, rather than just one, as an experiment. <br /> <br />THIRD TALLY <br />Candidates #4 and #10 received the top votes on the third tally. <br /> <br />Mr. Bmll suggested that the Council may wish to consider <br />interviewing six candidates, for an additional option in case one of <br />their top five candidates were to withdraw or become eliminated <br />early in the process. <br /> <br />Councilmembers concurred. <br /> <br />Pust moved, Maschka seconded, directing Ms. Bacon to arrange <br />interviews with six candidates, as identified as candidates #1, #3, <br /># 4, #5, #9 and #10. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Maschka; lhlan; Pust and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Bmll recommended, and Ms. Bacon was so directed by <br />Council consensus, to inform all 21 candidates of their status at <br />this time. <br />
