For the ur oses of this report, 2.5 lbs./person/day wi11 be used � <br />P P <br />as the annual daily average for residential waste generation. <br />Thus, Roseville's estimated residential waste generated per day � <br />(RW/D) is: <br />RW/D = 2.5 x 36,000 = 45 tans/day avg. � <br />2,000 <br />Using the 17 percent yard wastes as given in Ramsey County's � <br />Master Plan, Roseville's yard wastes (YW� on an annua� average <br />per day are: � <br />YW =.17 x 45 = 7.65 �ons/day avg. � <br />and if approximately 66 percent of the yard wastes are grass � <br />c�ippings (GC) then: <br />GC =.66 x 7.65 = 5.1 tons/day avg. � <br />which for all practical purposes is 5 tons per day, or 1,825 <br />tons/year <br />Daily annual average tonnage of residential generated was�e can � <br />be calculated tor the other solid wastes by using the 45 tons/day <br />as a base and the Ramsey County estima�ed percentages previously � <br />tabulated herein. <br />i <br />� <br />� <br />�� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />� <br />IO <br />�. <br />
