<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/04/06 <br />Minutes - Page 17 <br /> <br />process be amended to include interest in this Technical Advisory <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Further discussion included whether to consider interviewing <br />those candidates interested in the Technical Advisory Committee; <br />solicitation of applications and delegation by the City Council of <br />Mr. Schwartz to review applications and make recommendation to <br />the City Council; and possibly having two at large appointments, <br />with one representative of the PWET Commission or Planning <br />Commission, and one staff representative. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to include solicitation of applications for <br />representatives to serve on a technical advisory committee for <br />concept plan development for the reconstruction of Rice Street to <br />the current Commission applications solicitation; and further <br />directed Mr. Schwartz to report back to the City Council, after <br />advertisement and receipt of applications, in January to report on <br />his actions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan offered her interest in participation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust cautioned that staff and City <br />Councilmembers should avoid overtaxing, and recognizing time <br />constraints of current commission members. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Discuss Twin Lakes AUAR Options <br />Community Development Director John Stark provided a brief <br />historical review of the Twin Lakes Business Park Alternative <br />Urban Area-wide Review (AUAR) for the Twin Lakes area; and <br />recent action the most recent Council action on November 27, <br />2006, at which time the City Council tabled the scheduled public <br />hearing of the AUAR Update in light of receipt of a letter from <br />Roseville Twin Lakes LLC (the developer) requesting to sever the <br />Contract for Redevelopment between the developer and the City <br />of Roseville for properties within the Twin Lakes redevelopment <br />area. <br /> <br />Mr. Stark reviewed potential AUAR Update alternatives, <br />including A) Do not complete the update; B) Eliminate Scenario <br />lB from the AUAR Update; C) Release the current draft, with <br />minor revisions, to the commenting agencies; and D) Prepare a <br /> <br />Twin Lakes AUAR <br />Options <br />
